Monday, June 25, 2018 was indeed a memorable day for France-Thailand business relationships. The Prime Minister of Thailand, Prayut Chan-O-Cha invited key ministers of his government and delegates from the France-Thailand business sector to an economic meeting in France where three Memorandums of Understanding were formalized between the private and public sectors of Thailand and France, to further strengthen the two countries’ economic relations.
Dassault Systèmes’ strategic partnership with PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC), Thailand’s largest public petrochemical company, was one of these three major Memorandums of Understanding signed during the economic meeting. This marks a significant milestone for Dassault Systèmes’ Value Solutions footprint in Asia Pacific South.
The partnership is in line with the government’s Thailand 4.0 vision to transform Thai economy into an innovation-driven one. The signing ceremony has been widely reported in leading Thai media outlets, including BBC Thailand and Bangkok Post, as well as on the Thai government’s website.
Dassault Systèmes’ Christian Nardin, Sr Vice President of High Growth Countries, EMEAR and Masaki Sox Konno, Managing Director of Asia Pacific South attended the meeting to sign and witness the formalization of our strategic partnership with PTTGC’s Kongkrapan Intarajang, COO of Upstream Petrochemical Business.
Dassault Systèmes has successfully implemented the 3DEXPERIENCE platform into many leading oil and gas companies around the world. Indeed we look forward to working with PTTGC to implement Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform in its business operations to enhance its position as a leading global chemicals company.
