Following Dassault Systèmes’ official market entry into Vietnam on 27 July 2022, celebrations continued on 21 September 2022 at the Grand Cocktail Event, held at the Sofitel Legend Metropole in Hanoi. Jointly organized with Business France and the French Embassy in Vietnam, the event was officiated by Guest-of-Honor H.E. Nicolas Warnery, French Ambassador to Vietnam and attended by nearly 100 guests in government, trade and academia.
The event marked a momentous occasion, coinciding with celebrations surrounding Dassault Systèmes’ 40th year of innovations. Being a French technology company, the timing of our regional expansion has been especially significant, leading up to the commemoration of Vietnam’s 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations with France in the coming year.
The highlight of the evening was a panel discussion, themed “Accelerating Vietnam’s Smart Transformation for a Sustainable Future” and moderated by Minh Nguyen, Vice Chairman, Eurocham Vietnam and Partner, Tax & Business Advisory Services, Mazars Vietnam.

Amidst lockdowns arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnam has emerged as a choice location for international companies seeking to diversify their supply chains. The country has since become one of the world’s leading manufacturing hubs. While digitalisation is set to play a critical role in the next phase of the country’s transformation, Dassault Systèmes is well-positioned to support the country’s growth ambitions by enabling the acceleration of smart innovation, especially in manufacturing, smart cities and EV sectors.
