Crusader Resources Ltd. Saves Time with Surpac Macros

Headquartered in Australia, Crusader Resources Limited is a minerals company focussed on the identification, acquisition, development and operations of projects in Brazil. The company has two main projects in Brazil: Borborema and Posse, as well as an extensive ground holding for exploration.  Its diverse portfolio of commodities includes gold, iron ore, tin and tungsten. The keystone project is Borborema, an open-pit gold project which, when fully operation, will produce up to 180,000 ounces of gold per year.

In addition to employing MineSched and Whittle for scheduling and pit optimisation, Crusader uses Surpac for geology and mine planning across their projects. Having implemented Suprac since the beginning of their ventures in Brazil, the company has found the software increases efficiency and productivity, while saving time for the staff.

Surpac’s ability to automate commonly performed tasks through the use of macros is widely recognized as one of the software’s greatest strengths.

Macros provide pushbutton functionalities, which simplifies procedures, and also eliminates the possibility of human error caused by manual entry.
