GEOVIA InSite Reporting Explained: Mobile, Power BI and Paginated Reports

We’re back with Part 2 of InSite Reporting! Check out Part 1 for dashboarding and KPI basics.

If you have InSite 4.6.1, you will be able to utilize reporting features such as updated dashboarding, Power BI, KPIs, Mobile and Paginated Reports. Today we’ll talk about where to find mobile, Power BI and Paginated Reports, and how to create them.

Mobile Reports

Mobile Reports are easy to create and don’t require programming/scripting or IT skill sets in order to implement them.

  1. From your InSite reporting landing page, select New > Mobile Report from the top-right menu.
  2. Populate various parameters for your Mobile Report including planned and/or actual values or datasets, visualization type, and so on.
  3. Hit Save to review your results.

Power BI Reports

  1. Power BI Reports are also easy to create also and don’t require programming/scripting or IT skill sets. Here’s how to create a Power BI Report on your InSite reporting landing page for yourself or others in your organization. From your InSite reporting landing page, select the New > Power BI Report option from the top-right menu.
  2. Populate various parameters for your Mobile Report including planned and/or actual values or datasets, visualization type and so on.
  3. Hit Save to review your results.
  4. Note that all of this is available on your mobile browser with mobile form factor, but also there is a mobile app too!

Paginated Reports

Paginated Reports still have the same great features but now you can export them to PowerPoint format too.
