GEOVIA MineSched 9.1.1 Released

We are pleased to announce that GEOVIA MineSched 9.1.1 has just been released. Highlights include:

Improvements to the Update Model Function

Users are now able to update both Surpac and Free Block Model formats with period numbers after a schedule is completed.

Users can now create new variables in their block model and populate it with the period in which the block was mined, enabling users to compare different scheduling options visually using the block model variables.

Improved Reporting

We have added a new Standard Dashboard Report called “Added to Processes Detailed”, which provides a greater depth of detail than is provided in the Added to Process report. This new report means that users who have complex material movement process at their mine now have a specific report (created after each schedule is run) to meet their needs. This could potentially save hours of time by allowing users to simplify their material movement charts and eliminate unnecessary spreadsheet work. This is particularly important for operations that send material directly to the processing plant rather than a stockpile.

Improved Precedences Functionality

Users with a large precedences list (in particular, when wildcard definitions are used) can now benefit from the speeding up of processes when Setup Schedule > Precedences is selected. There is now a 50% to 83% reduction in the time taken to open the tab and switching back to it after performing other activities.

Improvements to Export to CSV Function

The Publish Results > Export to CSV file function has been rewritten to offer better performance and provide the ability to use any list separator – thousands separator or decimal symbol for the outputs. Performance improvements include up to 65% reduction in the time taken to run the function.

MineSched 9.1.1 is provided complimentary as part of the GEOVIA Maintenance and Support Program subscription and can be downloaded through the dedicated download service from the 3DS Support Site

We have also released the GEOVIA MineSched 9.1.1.1 Hotfix on 3DS Support with the following enhancement:

To ensure the integrity of all scheduling results, the VARIABLE_THROUGHPUT target parameter has been fixed to process materials in all scenarios.
