With the introduction of DraftSight® Pro Pack, we now provide geologists, mining engineers and surveyors access to Dassault Systèmes’ full-featured 2D CAD product.

Easy to use and install, with more than 3.5 million downloads worldwide, DraftSight is a professional grade 2D CAD product that provides a better way to create, edit and view DWG files. DraftSight Pro Pack is seamlessly integrated into GEOVIA Surpac™, saving you time and offering increased plotting capabilities. Surpac plots open automatically in DraftSight for review and editing, eliminating compatibility issues and cumbersome import and export processes reducing time and ultimately saving money

Getting started in DraftSight Pro Pack is quick and using it with Surpac is simple and easy. Here are a few points that illustrate how seamless integration helps productivity immediately when performing key tasks:

  • DWF files of plans and sections created using any version of Surpac can be opened for review in DraftSight using a simple Drag & Drop operation from the Surpac Navigator. New DWF files of plans and sections created by Surpac 6.5 or later will automatically be opened in DraftSight for review and editing immediately after the file has been created.
  • Edit DWF files of plans and sections created by Surpac in the DraftSight Model tab using DraftSight’s comprehensive, text, line and other CAD tools.
  • Add accurate dimension lines and associated annotations to plans and sections using a range of dimensioning features.
  • Print DWF files of plans and sections from the DraftSight Layout tab.
