How to embed MineSched Schedule Animation into 3DEXPERIENCE platform 3DPlay

With GEOVIA MineSched 2020’s new capability, MineSched POWER’BY enables you to upload the results of a MineSched schedule to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to analyze and share the schedule data.

While sharing MineSched schedule output into 3DEXPERIENCE platform, you can also integrate and play the schedule animation into 3DPlay; which helps stakeholders to gain an insight and visualization of mining progress without having MineSched installed on their systems.

The steps below steps illustrate how to embed MineSched scheduling animation into 3DEXPERIENCE platform, hence you can navigate through the different scheduling periods into 3DPlay.

 

 

Connect to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform from the GEOVIA MineSched 2020 interface

Login into your designated tenant with your credentials, where you would like to upload the scheduling animation result.

 

 

 

After successful login, run the schedule into MineSched and generate scheduling output with animation.

 

 

 

MineSched POWER’BY

Go to 3DEXPERIENCE tab in MineSched and click on MineSched POWER’BY

 

 

Select Collaborative Space from the specific tenant and bookmark work-space for storing the files into 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

 

 

Then choose the results you would like to import into 3DSpace and click on Apply.

 

 

 

All data will be automatically stored into specified 3DSpace in a structured manner, which can be shared with other stakeholders for effective enterprise collaboration.

 

 

Display MineSched animation in 3DPlay

For displaying MineSched animation into 3DPlay, login into 3DEXPERIENCE platform with your credentials and set-up your dashboard accordingly.

*if 3DPlay is not supporting *.mineschedanimation file; press F12 from the keyboard and manually add a variable in the browser (chrome preferably) 3DPlay.GEOVIA = true (as per the below screenshot).

 

 

 

Here in this example, one dashboard has been created with Bookmark Editor and 3DPlay widgets.

Drag & drop the *.mineschedanimation file from Bookmark Editor widget into 3DPlay, navigate through the animation for better visual validation of your mining progress.

It also allows you to display/hide mining activities or stockpiles associated with that particular animation.
