Lifesaving Technology from SolidWorks

GEOVIA, formerly known as Gemcom software prior to its acquisition in 2012, is now part of the Dassault Systemes family. Here is an inspiring story from the vault of one of our sister brands, SolidWorks, which shows the amazing feats that can be accomplished through innovate technology.

It’s a story that everyone is familiar with – on Thursday, August 5th, 2010, 33 Chilean miners were trapped 2,000 feet underground, where they survived for 69 days.
