NOTE: This webinar is now over, please view the recording below.

Strategic mine planning is a crucial step in the mine planning process in order to align tactical mine plans with long term business targets. If mine sites do not have visibility of the company’s strategic goals, it can be exceedingly difficult to determine what success looks like and more often than not, a trial-and-error approach is used in place.

Join us for our webinar to explore strategic to tactical scheduling. Michael O’Connor, Senior Mining Consultant, GEOVIA, Dassault Systèmes will discuss how mine planners can make better, more informed decisions on where and how to mine.

We will cover the following points:

  • Strategic versus Tactical
  • Tactical inputs and GEOVIA MineSched
  • Aligning objectives (are we comparing “apples with apples”?)
  • Understanding deviations in the plan
  • Measuring the success of your implementation
