Today, we introduce MineSched 9.1, our latest release for surface and underground mine scheduling. MineSched now offers more flexible underground design management for scheduling, a new and improved graphics engine, and enhanced haulage route enforcement.
“We’re excited to release MineSched 9.1, as it represents a collaborative effort with several of our mining customers to improve productivity and efficiency when planning and scheduling their operations. Collectively, these new features reduce prep time from days to hours, freeing Mine Planning Engineers to focus on schedule analysis and execution,” says Raoul Jacquand, GEOVIA CEO.
By using GEOVIA MineSched 9.1, mining companies achieve several key benefits such as:
- Time – deplete stope volumes, tonnage, and grade by any intersecting development headings, eliminating the time spent cutting holes in stope solids and correction of invalid solids
- Efficiency – keep MineSched updated with the latest source design and maintain one set of design files for all your applications
- Practicality – ensure haulage trucks to follow a practical and realistic path all the way along the defined haulage routes
- Accuracy – improved short-term scheduling and more control and flexibility with user-defined activity precedence and constraints
What’s New in GEOVIA MineSched 9.1
- Deplete stopes by any intersecting development headings. You no longer need to cut holes in your stope solids to report the correct volumes, which can save a significant amount of time. Watch the video to learn more.
- Import multiple underground design files. You no longer have to merge your underground designs together for use in MineSched, and maintain one set of design files for all applications. Watch the video here.
- Create links to the underground design source files, flag when a change has been made and refresh MineSched with the new design. This is a powerful new feature that delivers significant time savings when modifying underground designs and makes MineSched fully integrated with whichever Mine Planning Software you use.
- Updated visualization tools. Triangulations and strings look far crisper and clearer, and loading up large amounts of data on the canvas is handled with ease. A new set of options has also been added to suit your preference.
- Define Pit and Fill points for all haulage paths. Ensure that practical haulage paths are taken by each truck in the schedule. You can now define a Pit and Fill point along each haulage route – watch the video to learn more.
- Trucks always travel to the closest point along the in-pit haulage route.
- Trucks always travel to the entry point to the dump before traveling to the destination.
How can I get MineSched 9.1?
