Attend Free Workshop on Design-to-Additive Manufacturing on April 17th – Featuring RIZE and Dassault Systèmes

Design for Additive ManufacturingDassault Systèmes and RIZE Inc. are pleased to host a free workshop focused on trends and technologies that are shaping the workflow and product design for additive manufacturing titled, Unified Design and Fabrication: An Inclusive Experience to Accelerate Innovation on April 17, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:30 p.m. at Dassault Systemes FabLab, located at the company’s North America headquarters in Waltham, MA.

This workshop will explore how users can combine generative design and additive manufacturing in one unified experience in order to create designs never before possible, streamline design and production as well as scale the technology company-wide. Workshop attendees will learn how they can achieve accelerated product innovation through better integration between design, engineering, manufacturing, and service.

Event highlights include:

  • Presentation: Optimizing Design Performance and Improving Manufacturing Productivity
  • Expert panel discussion: What will it take for additive manufacturing to scale across the enterprise?
    • Panelists:
      • Andy Berlin, Product Manager, RIZE Inc.
      • Colin Swearingen, CATIA Technical Specialist NAM, Dassault Systèmes
      • Tonya Cole, Sr. Application Consultant, CATIA NAM Lightweight Engineering, Dassault Systèmes
      • Emily Turcan, ACT 3D
      • Additive Manufacturing Lab Manager of a Consumer Packaged Goods company
  • Presentation: Generative Design and Fabrication: A One-Touch Experience for Additive Manufacturing
  • Live interactive demos of Dassault Systèmes Generative Design solutions and RIZE Additive Manufacturing technology

This workshop is just one of the ways that Dassault Systèmes and RIZE are working together to help manufacturers realize the most potential from their additive manufacturing initiatives. In February, Dassault Systèmes and RIZE announced the formation of a strategic partnership designed to seamlessly integrate Dassault Systemes SOLIDWORKS design software and RIZE printers. The combined the power of SOLIDWORKS design software and RIZE’s voxel-level additive manufacturing enables engineers to compress design cycle time, improve the engineering-to-manufacturing hand-off, and provide key personalization.
