Marc Young founded xLM Solutions in 2006 to help enterprises extend the potential of their product life cycle and product data management enterprise systems. He is a renowned expert in all aspects of enterprise software, especially PLM, PDM and CAD. He has designed, integrated and expedited technology solutions for manufacturers looking to improve their business processes. In fact, he has developed tools and methodologies for data migration and PLM/PDM integration projects. Working on migration solutions, he has in-depth experience with major systems including SmarTeam, ENOVIA V6, 3DEXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS PDM, Autodesk Vault, DBWorks, SharePoint, flat files and more. Whether working on a complete migration to re-platform or integrating technology solutions with pockets of working functionality, like CAD file management, Marc brings strategic knowledge and expertise to every project. He has customized PLM and PDM solutions to meet the needs of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises across a wide variety of verticals. Marc earned his MBA degree from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and his Bachelor’s degree in electronics and electrical engineering from Michigan State University.
