This year, Dassault Systèmes launched an “Age of Experience” customer event series, a new conference concept designed to explore “megatrends” in key business sectors that are experiencing disruptive change. Inspired by the collaborative environment of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, the “Age of Experience” Event Series unites 3DEXPERIENCE platform user communities and thought-leaders across a variety of industries to exchange ideas and expertise in the fields of design, science, manufacturing and marketing.
Fresh off a major success at our first event – “Design in the Age of Experience” in Milan – Dassault Systèmes will next present “Science in the Age of Experience “ – a two-day conference that will feature an expanded simulation program, experts from various scientific and medical fields, and an array of influential speakers and customers. Scheduled for May 23-25th in Boston, our SIMULIA and BIOVIA brands will be heavily featured alongside all the technologies found in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
The use of simulation in medicine is bringing the world closer to a realistic digital representation of the world’s most complex engineering system: the human body. This event will draw expertise from simulation, chemistry, biology and materials science for a greater understanding of each discipline.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from keynote speakers Martin Karplus, PhD, theoretical chemist and winner of the 2013 Nobel Prize in chemistry; Mark Meili, Director of Modeling and Simulation at Procter & Gamble; Silvestre Pinho, professor of engineering at the Imperial College London; and Jay Maas, Analysis Engineer at Trek Bicycle Corporation.

A great opportunity to network with thought leaders and Dassault Systèmes executives, “Science in the Age of Experience” will offer new perspectives for delivering sustainable innovations capable of harmonizing product, nature and life. Two future events – “Manufacturing in the Age of Experience” in Shanghai, China, and “Marketing in the Age of Experience” in London, England, will be hosted in the coming months.
