COE 2017 Automotive Industry Day – See How Tomorrow’s Cars Are Being Built

COE, or “Community of Experts” is a not-for-profit community of experts of Dassault Systèmes solutions. COE acts as an independent network that promotes knowledge and best-practices to anyone who wants to apply Dassault Systèmes technologies to a project, business, or vision.  One of the most popular events on the Dassault Systèmes calendar is COE’s annual TechniFair, but the organization holds a series of smaller events as well…and the COE 2017 Automotive Industry Day is this week, Friday November 3rd at Lawrence Tech University in Southfield Michigan.

The day features presentations from auto industry visionaries like Behrooz Shahidi, ‎ Manager for Upfront CAE, DI Group at Ford Motor Company, to talk about conceptual vehicle design and simulation. It will also include as our own Michael LaLande, Business Consultant Director, Transportation & Mobility at Dassault Systèmes, who will give an update on global automotive industry trends in the adoption of tech innovation.

After the presentations, the day includes a full schedule of breakout sessions, customer success stories, demos and hands-on workshops featuring the latest in Transportation & Mobility technology from CATIA, SIMULIA, DELMIA and the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.   Topics include:
