Dassault Systèmes and the Women Business Leaders of Tomorrow

Whether we’re enabling ‘green’ technology or promoting STEM education, Dassault Systèmes has always taken a proactive stance towards nurturing social equilibrium.  One social issue we champion is gender equality in the workplace, and the North American WIN (Women’s Initiative) program is a great example of how we’ve translated a belief into action. Led by Debbie Dean, VP & General Counsel, the WIN program supports female employees at Dassault Systèmes North America by providing them with professional networking opportunities, business skills coaching, mentorship opportunities, and lectures from external experts who provide advice for personal and professional growth.

Recently, Debbie Dean and the WIN program were featured on Boston’s WCVB-Channel 5 evening news program Chronicle, in a segment titled “Tomorrow’s Female CEOs” which focuses on efforts to prepare women for business leadership roles in the Boston area.  Dassault Systèmes is featured as one of the first companies to partner with Bentley University’s Center for Women and Business and features Debbie Dean’s leadership of our Women’s Initiative, highlighting Dassault Systèmes’ outreach to school-age girls to encourage their interest in STEM careers, and our efforts to ensure fair consideration for hiring and promotions is offered to women.

Since being established in 2013, the WIN program has grown considerably, and does more than support our female employees.  This past June, the initiative’s ongoing support for the education of women in Rwanda raised enough funds to sponsor the full cost for three women to attend the Nyanza Technical School, providing money for tuition, room and board, and supplies.

Dassault Systèmes is proud of the WIN program, and we congratulate Debbie on this well-deserved recognition of her efforts!
