In today’s growing industrial market, it is tough to stand out from the crowd, so picking the right spot to showcase solutions is a crucial decision. Back in 1947, during a time of post-war turmoil, countries like Germany needed a massive boost to revive their economic advancement; and so the trade fair was born. Seventy years later, Hannover Messe is enshrined as longstanding tradition and major annual event in Hannover, Germany, hosting over 5,000 exhibitors from 60 different countries, including Dassault Systèmes. Hannover Messe brands itself as the “world’s leading trade fair for industrial technology” and is just around the corner on April 24 – 28, 2017. The event brings in more than 200,000 people from 100 different countries that flock to see the exhibitions for key technologies at the industry’s core. All technologies from research and development, IT, industrial supply, industrial automation, production technologies and services to energy and mobility can be found at Hannover Messe.
Dassault Systèmes is a long-time show attendee, highlighting our 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The United States was recently added as an official Partner Country to the trade fair in 2016, demonstrating cutting-edge technology and making lasting relationships with nearly 5.5 million business contacts over the five day period.
What to Expect
This year, Dassault Systèmes will showcase how simulation software aids the entire product development process by not only helping make products better, but also by creating flexibility and “shelf-ready” packaging during the manufacturing process. The 3DEXPERIENCE platform provides a full range of simulation tools that cover the entire product lifecycle, from design to production, to packaging and completed presentation at the supermarket. Product inception begins with close collaboration throughout all the components of the manufacturing stages with the help of Dassault Systèmes’ innovations. The Dassault Systèmes booth will include demonstrations that feature in-store Augmented Reality technologies, as well as Augmented Reality usage throughout the component manufacturing and operations process. Our dispalys will showcase a ‘3DEXPERIENCE Twin’ of a working factory, allowing visitors to see the benefits of virtual design and optimization, line flow, systems engineering, and maintenance with ‘smart’ sensors
