November 9 – The New York Times: Artificial Patients, Real Learning
Mannequins aren’t the only type of realistic simulators for human beings. Dassault Systèmes created a virtual 3-D heart model, to be used by medical device makers developing products, as well as doctors planning surgical operations. The simulation can be controlled with a joystick and projected onto walls to transport viewers through a scientifically-accurate beating heart.

November 20 – Engineering.com: PLM This Week: Dassault Systèmes Releases End-to-End Solution for BioPharma
Earlier last month, Dassault Systèmes launched three new industry solution experiences focused specifically on the BioPharma vertical. The solutions, named “ONE Lab,” “Designed to Cure,” and “Made to Cure for BioPharma” will complement the existing “License to Cure for BioPharma.” This offers an end-to-end solution for the design, development and production of novel therapeutics. In addition, the new suite of solutions will enable pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to work in a single digital environment. This will streamline both the scientific and operational processes for developing new drugs.
November 24 – 3DPrint.com: SOLIDWORKS 2016 Will Feature a Bunch of New 3D Printing Upgrades

November 25 – Desktop Engineering: In the Experience Economy, the Experience IS the Product
A central theme to this year’s 3DEXPERIENCE Forum was Dassault Systèmes’ shift of focus away from the traditional product lifecycle management to the so-called experience economy, where consumers expect “instantaneous answers, delightful experiences, and simplicity”. The shift in corporate thinking is reflected in the rebranding campaign. Products once known by their own distinct names — such as CATIA, ENOVIA, and SIMULIA — are now part of the all-encompassing 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
