We cover a lot of ground traveling to trade shows, speaking at industry seminars, and even hosting our own events. So each month, the Navigate the Future team will give you a heads-up on our biggest events for the upcoming week. Plan a trip to come see us, or stop by if we’re in your neighborhood! Here’s a snapshot of where we’ll be in July:
INCOSE Symposium
July 13-16
Dassault Systèmes’ CATIA brand will be found at booth C8-D8 during the 25th annual INCOSE Symposium, running July 13-16 in Seattle, Washington. The symposium is a gathering of system engineers from across the globe. There will be demonstrations, tutorials, case studies and panel discussions taking place throughout the event, with the goal of encouraging engineers to collaborate and share their engineering practices, education and research. Keynote speakers at the event will include Jan Bosch, a professor of software engineering at Chalmers University of Technology, Rieks Jager, E-ELT/METIS consortium project manager at NOVA, Linda Katehi, chancellor at UC Davis, and Dr. Ronnie McKenzie, managing director at WRP.
ASME Pressure Vessel and Piping Conference
July 19-24
Dassault Systèmes’ SIMULIA brand will be presenting at this year’s five day ASME Pressure Vessel and Piping Conference. The conference serves as a forum for professionals to discuss and explore diverse topics related to PVP. The conference is centered around 10 general concepts, including codes & standards, seismic engineering, computer technology & bolt joints and more. Representatives from SIMULIA will be presenting throughout the week on Nonlinear FEA of a Corroded Pip and Low-Velocity Impact Analysis of a Stiffened Composite Panel.
