Top industry leaders from across North America recently gathered for Dassault Systemes’ 3DEXPERIENCE FORUM at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. The heart of Silicon Valley provided a perfect backdrop for inspiration and innovation. The event kicked off with a keynote presentation from Marshall Van Alstyne, author of “Platform Revolution,” who spoke about the “platform economy” and the disruptive business model fueled by companies such as Facebook, Uber, Airbnb – platform businesses powered by communities and experiences.
The conference also featured several Dassault Systèmes customers who are transforming their businesses with the company’s 3DEXPERIENCE platform. They presented case studies focused on key issues including global collaboration, digital transformation and a perspective on cloud strategy.
Michelle Mertens, Director of Information Technology, Hitachi Computer Products (America) Inc. presented “Global Collaborative Creation: Inspiring Innovation Across our Factories.”
Donovan Campbell, Vice President of IT & Best Practices, Forum Energy Technologies discussed “Accelerating a Digital Transformation and Creating New Business Models with the 3DEXPERIENCE® Platform.”
And Javier Glatt, CEO, CadMakers, Inc. who is both a customer and a partner presented “How 3DEXPERIENCE on Cloud Delivers Successful Business Outcomes.”
