Dassault Systèmes Tax Department was awarded Best Tax Department: Overall Strategy 2015 at the International Legal Alliance Summit and Awards on June 24. The award was chosen by a jury panel of high profile General Counsel, Chief IP Council and Tax Directors based on their experience, as well as applications submitted by the departments.
The summit was held in New York City, at the Crowne Plaza in Times Square. Over 450 In-House counsel and Law Firms from across the globe gathered for the awards. The event included debates, networking opportunities and a lunch, before the awards were given out at a Gala Dinner.
Laurence Brochet, the Senior Director, Group Tax at Dassault Systèmes accepted the award and thanked the global tax team for all of their dedication and effort throughout the past year.
Cory Sinclair, Director, Americas Tax at Dassault Systèmes, echoed Brochet’s sentiment.
“This recognition is a huge validation of the hardworking and enthusiastic team members within the global Dassault Systèmes tax group,” said Sinclair. “The work is incredibly challenging, but each member of our team should feel proud of the daily effort and professionalism that led to this award.”
