Faraday Future Teams with Dassault Systèmes to Deliver Electric Cars

During CES last week, automobile upstart Faraday Future unveiled it’s prototype for an electric car. The debut generated a lot of buzz in part because, frankly, it looked like it was channeling a cool updated version of the Batmobile. See?

This week we are proud to announce that Faraday Future has adopted Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The electric-car company has already deployed the “Target Zero Defect” and “Smart Safe & Connected” industry solution experiences for the development and delivery of its new fully electric vehicle and connected automotive experience concept.

“We are taking a user-centric, technology-first approach to vehicle design with the ultimate aim of connecting the automotive experience to the rest of our customers’ life,” said Nick Sampson, Senior Vice President, Product R&D, Faraday Future. “Dassault Systèmes’ focus on customer experience and its unmatched technologies will enable us to meet our aggressive schedule to deliver the most advanced electric vehicles into the market. Dassault Systèmes’ industry solution experiences like ‘Target Zero Defect’ and ‘Smart Safe & Connected’ clinched the decision for Faraday Future.”

The team at Faraday Future has a lot of experience with delivering breakthrough cars, as several of its executives formerly worked at Tesla. Dassault Systèmes, you may remember, also worked with Tesla on the delivery of their vehicle.

There is momentous change happening in the auto market and we are thrilled to part of it. You can read about Dassault Systèmes’ approach in an interview with our VP of Transportation and Mobility, Olivier Sappin, which appeared in Industry Week.
