Model-Based Workflow for Conceptual Design: Leveraging the Integrated Digital Environment

Lockheed Martin F22 Raptor

Lockheed Martin has humble origins dating back to 1912, with early planes constructed by hand in ad-hoc spaces such as churches and garages. Over the next century, the company grew to become a global leader in aeronautics, security, and space. Today Lockheed Martin has over 375 facilities across the world, approximately 16,000 active suppliers and recent sales of $59.8 billion in 2019. Given the immense scale and complexity of operations, Lockheed Martin must have a digital thread to connect data flows throughout the design and product lifecycle. This session is presented by LaTreace Myles, a Systems Engineer Senior Staff for the Advance Development Program (ADP) Skunk Works. Myles will share how a model-based systems engineering approach to design and development is a key technology enabler in furthering Lockheed Martin’s digital transformation with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

The Connected and Responsive Enterprise

Since its founding in Spain in 1870, Familia Torres has emerged as a benchmark European winery. Deep winemaking traditions passed down from generation to generation, along with an abiding respect for the land, have resulted in some of the finest wines available worldwide. The winery has embraced innovation and new techniques to lead their vintage into the 21st century while retaining the distinctive attributes that have made them famous. This session features Ramón López-Doriga, Marketing Manager at Familia Torres and Vincent Merlino, Business Experience Solution Portfolio Director for Dassault Systèmes ENOVIA brand. They will discuss how the right virtual enterprise strategy will anticipate and take advantage of any disrupted environment. Most companies face some type of disruption: new regulations, new competitors, pandemics. Watch this session to discover how 3DEXPERIENCE Collaborative Innovation and Data Science enables the Connected and Responsive Enterprise to predict, prepare, and maximize opportunities brought about by the unexpected.
