SOLIDWORKS World in Dallas, Texas starts next week and on Tuesday, February 2, Yahoo Tech founder and host of PBS’s NOVA, David Pogue, will interview three customers who are using SOLIDWORKS to change markets … and the world:
Space Elevator – No, you read that right. This is a Japanese group dedicated to developing the “next-generation space transportation system,” which connects “geostationary orbit to the Earth with a strong and lightweight cable and an elevator that can transport things and people to Space.”
BrewBot – Having a high end coffee machine is pretty much a standard for office kitchens. But why stop at fresh coffee? Many start-ups have Beer Fridays – this company uses your smart phone to make brewing craft beer easier and more affordable.
Trusst Lingerie – The first bra was invented in November of 1914. Now over 100 years later this company has re-engineered the structure of conventional bras through smart and efficient design.
