3DEXPERIENCE Powers a Winning Mega-Project

Ask any company investing in large infrastructure projects about their top challenges, and you’ll consistently hear staying on time, staying on budget and managing complexity.

ASE – a major engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company, part of the Russian ROSATOM group – is no exception.

Knowing they needed a better way to build nuclear power plants on time and on budget, nearly a decade ago ASE began to establish up a large information system together with renewed work processes to manage their projects and support a large and diverse workforce.  The Multi-D project management system helps streamline the efficient management of all lifecycle stages of Nuclear Power Plants and other capital facilities.

Each year FIATECH – a global community of capital facilities stakeholders such as owner-operators, engineering companies or software vendors working together to drive productivity and efficiency improvements by advancing technology and innovative practice – appoints an international jury to assess the year’s most valuable projects in the industry.  The winners of this prestigious international contest are given the coveted CETI award.  In 2017, ASE was honored to be among the recipients of this CETI Award in the category of “Mega-Project”.

So why we are publishing this information in this blog? We are pleased to say that this award-winning system is based on Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform.  This video explains more about the project:
