To begin with, I’d like to invite you to read this Car-Design-News online article and discover details of the making-of and all workshops and tools in CATIA used by the CATIA Design team to complete this project. ‘b l e u’ virtual showcar was fully developed inside Dassault Systèmes’s 3DEXPERIENCE social collaborative environment with CATIA Creative Design and CATIA Surface Refinement solutions.
From the initial inspirations and the marketing brief, to CATIA Natural Sketch used at the ideation phase to rapidly translate ideas into 3D, CATIA Imagine & Shape for sculpting volumes, proportions and character lines, CATIA Icem for Surface Refinement and advanced surface modeling and CATIA Live Rendering for photorealistic visualization.
