Dassault Systèmes invites aerospace innovators to AirXperience

For the second consecutive year, the COVID-19 health crisis has canceled the popular Paris Air Show. In its place, Dassault Systèmes will host a virtual event, AirXperience, from June 22 to 25. We’re inviting aerospace innovators to join us in exploring virtualization’s influences on industry – from transforming supply chains to modernizing defense to disrupting space exploration.

The event will feature engaging panel conversations covering the most pressing topics affecting supply chains, defense and New Space. We’ll hear from leaders in the aerospace and defense industry, share incredible customer stories and more.

And there’s still time to join us. Learn more about AirXperience and reserve your spot by visiting our event website today.

For a sneak peek at the content you can expect at AirXperience, watch the teaser video and check out the customer stories collected below.

SPACE

NASA’s Kennedy Space Center needs to be able to simulate projects before they occur to ensure they’re feasible, safe and cost effective. Thanks to DELMIA, engineering teams working on the Space Shuttle, the International Space Station and Launch Services programs have been able to develop dozens of 3D models to support their work.

YURI is a German microgravity startup on a mission to make microgravity research accessible to all industries. The company’s hardware, built using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, allows researchers to send experiments to the International Space Station for as little as €95,000.

Zero 2 Infinity is a Barcelona-based startup developing low-cost launch methods for smaller satellites that also eliminate most of the pollution caused by rockets. A member of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, Zero 2 Infinity uses a balloon to lift a Bloostar pod to the upper edge of Earth’s atmosphere before 3D-printed rockets complete the journey to near space, where Bloostar opens and releases a satellite into its proper orbit.

SUPPLY CHAIN

Ascent Aerospace provides tooling systems, factory automation and integration services to the aerospace, defense and space industries. The 3DEXPERIENCE platform and virtual twin technology help reduce time to market by allowing Ascent Aerospace to design and build from anywhere, with real-time access to data and changing OEM requirements.

Quickstep is a carbon fiber composites manufacturer working with the world’s leading aerospace organizations to make complex parts and assemblies for “build to print” applications. The company believes using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform will allow it to transform production cycle times and present an ideal solution for drones and eVTOL aircraft, as well.

DEFENSE

Safran Electronics & Defense specializes in software for civil and military applications in the naval, aeronautical and space sectors. The company uses the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to supercharge product lifecycle management and strengthen its position in the market.

Defense & Space Korea develops aviation simulators for training pilots and aircraft maintenance crews. Using the 3DVIA application to create lifelike 3D experiences, DNSK has been able to create detailed designs and reliable training modules while improving efficiency and lowering costs.
