Help shape the future of mobility in Europe

Many people have great ideas about what the future of mobility could look like. Are you one of them?

Along with Atos, Orange, Renault Group, STMicroelectronics, and Thales, Dassault Systèmes is excited to be part of the Software République. The group was announced in April 2021 with the mission to provide citizens, companies and local authorities with comprehensive offers ranging from user interfaces to energy management, integrating vehicle systems, service platforms and network operating tools. Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, connectivity, embedded electronics, and virtual twin technology will contribute to the excellence of these new products and services.

We have launched our first open innovation challenge: Mobility 4.0. This marks the first time that six major European companies have joined forces to provide data, technical tools, hardware and software prototyping platforms, knowledge, and expertise to create disruptive, value-creating use cases for mobility across the continent.

Through October 13, we invite start-ups, entrepreneurs, SMEs, research institutes, academics, or anyone wishing to play a role in defining a new era of sustainable and intelligent mobility in Europe to apply to join the open innovation ecosystem to work on one of the five themes:

  • Improvement of the user experience related to electric vehicles
  • Multimodal accessibility
  • Intelligent transport
  • Cybersecurity
  • Open ideas

Those selected will have the unique opportunity to pitch their ideas to major mobility and digital players. They’ll be provided access to the data necessary for their project and will be supported by experts from the member companies to help formulate their value proposition and develop a prototype. A jury comprised of executives from each company will select the participants and will hear their pitches in December.

Winners will be integrated into and incubated by the Software République, with privileged access to R&D facilities. In addition to potential industrial opportunities, winners will benefit from media exposure at an internationally renowned technology exhibition and office space at one of the partner sites.

Visit the Software République site to learn more about the challenge, key dates and the judges, as well to apply. We can’t wait to see the results!
