Project of the Year: Winners Announced!

Each year, Dassault Systèmes’ Global Academia team sponsors a Project of the Year contest to encourage students and schools to create innovative projects in CATIA, SOLIDWORKS and SIMULIA. Submissions are made through our Global Academia website and are then uploaded to Facebook for public voting.

With 214 projects – a 56% increase from the past year – the 2017 campaign was a great success! Projects came from 27 countries, with India, the United States and South Korea leading the submissions, and from 107 different universities.

Contestants had 3 categories in which they could win:
• Top overall Jury Prize winner chosen by a panel at Dassault Systèmes French headquarters
• 3 top brand projects for CATIA, SIMULIA and SOLIDWORKS, selected by individual brand juries
• 10 top votes from Facebook users

The winners were announced July 5th on Dassault Systèmes Academia Facebook and Twitter accounts. Check out the video to discover the winners.

Congratulations to all the winners who received high tech prizes, including an iPad Mini, wireless headphones and more.
