The future of footwear: connected shoes and customized comfort for consumers

Connected products and wearable tech flow around us : in our home, our kitchens, our cars, our bikes, in our clothes, and now… in our shoes! What’s better than a platform to think, design, develop and launch a new connected product?

From IoT to IoE

In a world of connected products, processes and value networks, the Internet of Experience (IoE) is the next evolutionary step beyond IoT. IoE enables real-world data from devices to be fed into their digital (virtual) twins. With IoE, Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform delivers true experience-based and data-driven innovation. Through agile and multi-discipline collaboration, the distance between the real world and the virtual world (V+R) disappears.

Disciplines collaborating in V+R can navigate the past and the future in the context of their business, in a multiscale environment. The more stakeholders explore, experiment, share their expertise and make decisions in the virtual world, the more it becomes an open book to other disciplines, in sync with the real world.
