This eSeminar is focused on optimization using Tosca Structure. Tosca optimization technology incorporates multiple CAE technologies like fatigue, linear and nonlinear FEA including contacts and nonlinear materials.
Watch this eSeminar (in the SIMULIA Learning Community) to learn how Tosca Structure in combination with the SIMULIA portfolio can simplify and automate complex engineering workflows. If you’re accessing the Learning Community for the first time, you’ll be asked to create an account—all you need is an email address!
eSeminar Takeaways
- Understand how to avoid unnecessary safety margins through realistic models.
- Gain more scope for innovation considering the “whole figure.”
- Optimize existing designs without time-consuming and error-prone simplification.

Presenters
Michael Werner – Senior Technical Specialist
Michael Werner is part of the SIMULIA “Power of the Portfolio” Growth Initiative, dedicated to promoting the adoption of Tosca, Isight, and fe-safe technologies. He joined FE-DESIGN (acquired in 2013 by Dassault Systèmes) in 2011 after studying Computational Engineering in Darmstadt/Germany and Stockholm/Sweden. Prior to his current role, Michael has been actively supporting technical marketing and ‘Go-To-Market’ strategy of Tosca technology within Dassault Systèmes and helped introduce structural design optimization to the virtual product development process at major German OEMs.
Gergana Dimitrova – Senior Technical Specialist
Gergana Dimitrova is also part of the SIMULIA “Power of the Portfolio” Growth Initiative. Prior to her role as technical marketing specialist she was responsible for the introduction of optimization technologies into virtual development units of OEM customers, engaged in service projects and customer support. She joined FE-DESIGN in 2011 after working in the field of Crash & Safety simulations. Gergana holds a BSc. in “Applied Mathematics” from Sofia University in Bulgaria and a MSc. in “Computational Science in Engineering” from TU Braunschweig, Germany.
