Are you a student with ideas on how to improve our world? Are you passionate about finding a way to keep our oceans clean? Or about making life better in cities? What about how to bring more affordable and clean energy to help the 800 million people worldwide who don’t have access to electricity?

We are excite to announce the 2nd annual Innovate for Sustainability ChallengeThis global competition gives university and high-school students around the world the opportunity to explore, learn and use Dassault Systèmes solutions to tackle some of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a series of 17 objectives to help our world achieve a better and more sustainable future by 2030. The SDGs address global challenges including poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. For this challenge, we selected four:

  • Affordable and Clean Energy
  • Sustainable Cities and Communities
  • Responsible Consumption and Production
  • Life Below Water

Students 18 and older are encouraged to pick one of these challenges, develop their idea on how to address it and then explore how Dassault Systèmes solutions can help address their solution. Via a dedicated online community, they will have support from Dassault Systèmes mentors and experts. Selected projects will have the opportunity to be pitched in front of a panel of industry experts, and win high-tech prizes.

You don’t need previous design experience: all you need is imagination and a drive to change the world.

The contest is open for entries until December. Visit our website to get all details and rules, and feel free to spread the word about this competition!

Good luck to all of the participants!
