Simpack is a general purpose Multibody Simulation (MBS) software used for the dynamic analysis of any mechanical or mechatronic system. It enables engineers to generate and solve virtual 3D models in order to predict and visualize motion, coupling forces and stresses.
This eSeminar is available in the SIMULIA Learning Community. If you’re accessing the Learning Community for the first time, you’ll be asked to create an account—all you need is an email address!
Agenda:
- What is Multibody Simulation (MBS)?
- Simpack History (software and SIMPACK GmbH)
- Simpack Applications
- Simpack Highlights (Solver, Realtime,…)
- Using Flexible Bodies within Simpack
- Synergies with the SIMULIA Portfolio
- Where to find Simpack Sales and Marketing Materials
Presenter:
Steve Mulski – SIMULIA Multibody Simulation Technical Sales Director
Steve holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a MSc in Design and Manufacturing. He completed two half year work placements at GE and BMW, then worked three years as a project leader responsible for design, development and implementation of automatic order assembly systems for pharmaceutical wholesalers. Steve was also a project engineer and lecturer at the Advanced Railway Research Centre, University of Sheffield. Steve joined SIMPACK AG (acquired in 2014 by Dassault Systèmes) in 2000, where he worked as a project/sales engineer in multiple industry sectors including rail, automotive, engine, industrial equipment, drivetrains, and wind.
