SIMULIA Introduces 2020 Champions — Including Champions from Airbus, Ford, Collins Aerospace, 3M and More!

The word “champion” comes from the Latin word campus, which means “fighter.” Over the years, the meaning of “champion” has been more commonly used to refer to the winner of a competition or someone who strives toward a goal and puts all of his or her effort toward achieving it.

For the members of our inaugural SIMULIA Champions Program, that goal is to advance simulation technology and share it with the world.  Our Champions come from a range of companies and institutions, including Collins Aerospace, Ford Motor Company, 3M, Airbus, Technical University of Denmark, Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology and more.

This year’s Champions are experts in our key industries, including Transportation & Mobility, Aerospace & Defense, Industrial Equipment and High-Tech or work in an academic environment. Their diversity is also represented in their use of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and SIMULIA portfolio, including Abaqus, CST Studio Suite, PowerFLOW and more. The Champions are based around the globe – USA, China, Singapore, UK, Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, India and Korea. Though we are debuting more than 20 Champions today, we expect to announce more Champions later this spring and summer. The first champions are already on our website.

Our Champions will be brand ambassadors who share their extraordinary expertise with other users, inspire peers and provide feedback. We look forward to working closely with all of our Champions to help our SIMULIA community grow.
